Every Drop Finds a Purpose
In the heart of our sanctuary, the Root Zone Treatment Plant—one of Asia’s largest—whispers life back into every droplet, recycling 1.5 crore litres of wastewater annually through the natural filtration of the Canna plant. Beneath the open sky, rain is welcomed with open arms, collected and cherished, with 5-7 lakh litres replenishing the groundwater table each year. Permeable pathways, like nature’s veins, guide each raindrop to the earth below. Here, water stewardship isn’t just a practice—it’s a rhythm in which luxury and sustainability flow as one.

From solar-heated water to energy-efficient ductable air-conditioning systems, every element is crafted to enhance comfort while minimising environmental impact. Sunlight fills each villa, reducing the need for artificial lighting and fostering a sense of openness and tranquillity.
Behind the scenes, our Gobar Gas Plant transforms organic kitchen waste into clean energy, powering our staff meals in a nod to India’s tradition of self-sufficiency. At Aahana, every choice, from the smallest detail to the largest design, works in harmony to create a space where nature and luxury coexist seamlessly.

The Future of Pool Design
At Aahana, even the pool reflects our commitment to thoughtful luxury. Among the few UV-cleaned pools in the country, it uses advanced technology to maintain crystal-clear water with minimal chlorine—gentle on the skin, easy on the senses. Designed for wellness and comfort, it’s a space to unwind, swim, and simply feel good.
Nature’s Defence
At Aahana, comfort goes hand in hand with care. Naturally grown citronella and lemongrass create a gentle, chemical-free deterrent against mosquitoes—subtle, effective, and in tune with the land. Their clean, refreshing aroma drifts through open spaces, allowing guests to enjoy the outdoors in ease, even in the heart of the forest.
13.5 Acres, Brought to Life
What was once barren is now alive with possibility. Over the years, we’ve planted more than 4,000 indigenous trees, gradually restoring the natural balance of the land. Today, over 200 species of birds, butterflies, and other native wildlife call this space home. It’s nature finding its way back—one rooted step at a time.
Circular Waste Practices
At Aahana, waste is not an end—it’s a new beginning. Every fallen leaf and kitchen remnant is transformed into 50,951 kg of nutrient-rich compost each year, nourishing our organic gardens and supporting nearby farmers. Sustainability here is a shared responsibility, where mindful waste management generates a tangible impact—our Waste Fund contributed INR 2 lakh last year to the Employee Welfare Fund. Through hands-on education and financial incentives, our team doesn’t just manage waste; they embrace sustainability as a way of life, carrying its spirit beyond Aahana and into their homes.
Organic Kitchen Garden

With the spirit of unity, we gather—staff and schoolchildren alike—under the banner of “Clean Corbett, Green Corbett.” Each month, we come together to clear the land of its waste, not only to preserve its beauty but to foster a deeper awareness of our responsibility. In this shared effort, we cultivate a lasting connection to the environment, one that extends beyond action to become a lasting commitment to the land we hold dear.
