Anup's journey from the quaint village of Gwari in Pauri, Uttarakhand, to his pivotal role in Front Office at Aahana is a tale of determination, inspiration, and relentless hard work. Raised in a village where opportunities were scarce, Anup embarked on his professional journey straight out of the village school, guided by the motivation of his older brother who was making strides in the hotel industry in Agra.
Fuelled by the desire to explore life beyond the village boundaries and captivated by fascinating narratives from the hotel industry, Anup took his first steps into this dynamic field. Beginning his career in Food and Beverage, it was during his tenure at a hotel in Haridwar that Anup discovered his knack for guest interaction and engagement, especially with international travellers. Recognising the need to enhance his skills, Anup dedicated himself to mastering fluent English, often extending his working hours to grasp the intricacies of front office operations.
Anup's connection with nature deepened during his brief stint in Madhya Pradesh, fostering a love for forests that eventually led him to Aahana in 2012. Through unwavering dedication, relentless determination, and a desire for learning, Anup has evolved into a valuable asset for

Manoj's journey from the beautiful village of Gramkatoli in Almora, Uttarakhand, to the heart of the culinary world at Aahana is a testament to his resilience and passion for food. Drawn by the tales of glamour and occasional encounters with celebrities, Manoj set out on a path inspired by a few village boys who had ventured into the hotel industry in Mumbai. Despite facing adversities, including a setback that shook his family's foundations, Manoj remained steadfast in his commitment to supporting his family and educating his younger siblings.
From a young age, Manoj's culinary journey began in his family kitchen, where he polished his cooking skills under the loving guidance of his mother and learned about Kumaoni herbs and spices. Even as life took unexpected turns, Manoj's determination and hard work never wavered. Though his formal education concluded after high school, his passion for cooking continued to thrive.
Recognizing Manoj's talent, he entered the hotel industry, learning invaluable lessons from seasoned professionals. It was under the mentorship of Mr. Prankaj Joshi, a senior chef, that Manoj not only refined his culinary expertise but also developed leadership qualities. Joining the Aahana family in 2013, Manoj brought with him a wealth of experience, a profound knowledge of local herbs and spices, and an unwavering passion for the culinary arts.
In his role as the main chef at Aahana, Manoj serves as an inspiration to his team. He embraces a continuous learning mindset, valuing the contributions of his team members and constantly seeking ways to enhance his culinary skills.
