Note: As per the Government of India directives, it is mandatory for all the guests – adults & children, to show any valid Photo ID proof (Passport in case of Foreign Nationals) at the time of Check-In.

- Aahana follows a 100% advance payment policy to confirm all bookings.
- If our standard Check-in/Check-out timings don’t align with your schedule, let us know in advance—we’ll do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability and additional charges.
- Valid government-issued photo identification and address proof for both adults and children are required at check-in (PAN cards are not accepted).
- The credit/debit card used for booking must belong to one of the guests staying at the resort.
- We accept payments via UPI, Cash, and Credit/Debit Cards (Visa & Mastercard only).
Jeep Safari Cancellation Policy
Jeep Safari Cancellation Policy
- As per Forest Department guidelines, once a Jeep Safari is booked, it cannot be cancelled or modified.
- In case of extreme weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, the Forest Department reserves the right to cancel safaris without prior notice and without issuing refunds.
Room Cancellation Policy: For Domestic Guests & Travel Agents
- 15 Days or More Before Arrival: Full refund after a 5.7% deduction as payment processing charges.
- Less Than 15 Days Before Arrival: 100% charge applies, and no refunds will be issued.
- Special occasions, long weekends, and holidays are non-refundable.
For International Guests & MICE Groups:
- 60+ Days Before Arrival: No cancellation charges.
- 30-60 Days Before Arrival: 50% of the total tariff will be charged.
- 0-30 Days Before Arrival & No-shows: A 100% cancellation charge applies.
For international transactions, payment processing fees may vary.
Check-in & Check-out Policy
- Check-in: 2:00 PM
- Check-out: 11:00 AM
Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to availability and must be requested in advance.
Force Majeure
Aahana The Forest Resort is not liable for delays or cancellations due to unforeseen events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (Acts of God)
- Strikes or labour disputes
- Government orders or embargoes
- War or civil unrest
Any disputes arising will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the District Court Nainital and the High Court at Nainital.
