General
Q: Where is Aahana located?
Aahana Resort & Spa sits on the boundary of Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand — 13.5 acres of restored forest where the park begins at our fence line. We share a boundary with the Bijrani Zone and are 15 minutes from two of Corbett’s most active safari zones, Dhela and Jhirna. Ramnagar railway station is 7 km from the resort, and Delhi is approximately 250 km (5 hours) by road via NH9.
Q: What makes Aahana unique?
Aahana is built on 13.5 acres of land the Tripathi family restored from bare earth before welcoming the first guest. What stands today — 4,500 trees, 250 recorded bird species, 50 butterfly species — is the result of that founding act. As a family-owned property with 99% local staff, we offer private pool villas with temperature-controlled Bisazza-tiled pools, the only Spa L’Occitane en Provence in Jim Corbett, farm-to-table dining from our organic kitchen garden, and 15-minute access to Dhela and Jhirna safari zones. Luxury here is made of the forest.
Q: Is Aahana a pet-friendly resort?
We do not accommodate pets. Aahana is a wildlife-first environment on the direct boundary of Jim Corbett National Park, and the presence of domestic animals poses a risk to both the local wildlife and the safety of your pet.
Q: What is the best time to visit Aahana?
November through March offers cool, clear days, excellent wildlife activity, and full access to all safari zones. March to June is peak season: days grow warmer and wildlife congregates near water sources, making sightings frequent. July through October is monsoon: lush, green, and quieter, with Dhela and Jhirna zones remaining open year-round: a rare advantage in Corbett, where most zones close mid-June to mid-October. There is no bad time to visit. The forest changes character by season, and each has its own reward.
Q: Do you have a river view?
We do not: Aahana is a forest resort. What we offer is something different: 13.5 acres of restored forest on the direct boundary of Jim Corbett National Park, with 250 recorded bird species and unobstructed forest canopy from every room. The park begins at our fence line. Guests looking to experience the essence of Jim Corbett and its forests choose Aahana for a stay that feels genuinely rooted in the place.
