We do not accommodate pets. Aahana is a wildlife-first environment on the direct boundary of Jim Corbett National Park, and domestic animals pose a risk to both the local wildlife and the safety of your pet. This is a deliberate choice rooted in our responsibility to the forest we share a fence line with.

Q: What is the best time to visit Jim Corbett National Park?

There is no bad time, but each season offers something different. November through March brings cool, clear days, excellent wildlife activity, and full access to all safari zones. March to June is peak season: warmer days push wildlife toward water sources, making sightings frequent. July through October is monsoon: lush, green, and quieter, with Dhela and Jhirna remaining open year-round, a rare advantage in Corbett where most zones close from mid-June to mid-October. The forest changes character by season, and each has its own reward.

No, Aahana is a forest resort, and that is the point. The Heritage Host is Aahana’s version of a personal butler: designed not to follow a checklist, but to anticipate. Assigned to four bedroom Private Pool Villa and Forest Villa, the Heritage Host manages safari arrangements, private dining sequences, spa bookings confirmed before arrival, and thoughtful surprises throughout the stay. Q: Is Aahana good for families with children?

Yes, and deliberately so. Children below 8 years stay complimentary. The property has a dedicated kids’ play area with trampoline, swings, and slides, a kids’ activity room with daily art and craft sessions, a baby pool, organic farm experiences, nature walks, and pottery workshops on weekends. The UV-filtered main pool is gentler for young swimmers. We customise menus for young guests on request. Dhela and Jhirna are both 15 minutes from Aahana, two of Jim Corbett’s most active zones for tiger, elephant, leopard, and sloth bear sightings, and both stay open through monsoon. Bijrani, Garjia, Sitabani, and Hathidangar are roughly 25 to 30 minutes away. We manage every safari booking end to end: permits, zone selection, timing, and the naturalist briefing. No coordination needed from you.

Q: Are cellphones allowed inside the national park for safaris?

No, mobile phone are not allowed during a jungle safari in the Corbett Tiger Reserve. Following directives from the Supreme Court of India, carrying and using mobile phones is strictly prohibited across all tourism zones to protect wildlife and minimise human disturbance.

Key accommodation types include Forest Rooms (500 sq ft, forest-facing), Suites with separate living areas (750–1,050 sq ft), Heritage Ranger’s Suite (private forest-facing deck and bathtub overlooking the trees), Forest Villas (four bedrooms, shared living and gazebo, up to 10 guests), and Private Pool Villas (four bedrooms, temperature-controlled Bisazza-tiled pool, Jacuzzi, Heritage Host, nanny quarters). Additional 30 rooms were added in 2026, brought total inventory to 99.

The four bedroom Private Pool Villa pools are temperature-controlled year-round using solar-assisted heating systems. By road: Aahana is approximately 250–260 km from Delhi NCR, around 4.5 – 5 hours via NH9. By air: Pantnagar Airport is 83 km away (approximately 2 hours). Bareilly Airport is 150 km (approximately 3 hours). Delhi IGI is the nearest major international airport.
