Thirteen and a half acres on the edge of Jim Corbett National Park, shaped entirely by the land it stands
on. Once bare earth, the estate was restored by the Tripathi family over two decades: four and a half
thousand trees, planted by hand, before a single guest arrived. Today it is home to 250 species of birds
and 50 species of butterflies. Traffic jams here are of a different kind.
The world moves fast but not here. A nature walk at first light, lunch under open skies, a game of
pickleball, an afternoon at Spa L’Occitane en Provence — the first and only one in Corbett. Ninety-nine
rooms, suites and villas sit inside the forest, run by a family and a team drawn almost entirely from the
villages around it.

SPA L'OCCITANE EN PROVENCE
The only one in Jim Corbett.
Eight thousand square feet on the boundary of an active tiger reserve. Five treatment rooms including two for couples, skylights opening to the canopy, a meditation garden with an outdoor yoga deck, and a hydrotherapy circuit of steam, sauna and jacuzzi.
Aromachologie oils and Immortelle rituals, drawn from L’Occitane’s Provençal collection and adapted to the pace of the forest. Beyond the spa, forest bathing, naturalist-led walks and morning yoga unfold at their own speed. Wellness here is the place itself.

Nothing here was found. It was made, slowly, on land that would not have recovered on its own — and every
decision since has been made to keep it that way.
CRAFTED
Local stone, repurposed wood, interiors oriented for light and airflow. Ninety-five per cent of the furniture is made by artisans from the surrounding villages, to designs drawn for these rooms.
SELF-SUFFICIENT
One of Asia's largest natural root zone treatment plants recycles 1.5 crore litres a year. Solar-assisted heating throughout. A gobar gas plant. A kitchen garden that supplies the kitchen daily.
STATE-OF-THE-ART
Lemongrass and citronella instead of chemicals. No fumigation. The trees are not lit at night, because birds nest in them. The pool is UV-filtered, using ninety per cent less chlorine than usual systems.

Over thirteen hundred square kilometres of sal forest, open grassland and winding riverbed. Established in 1936, the oldest national park in India and the birthplace of Project Tiger. Home to more than six hundred bird species, elephants, leopards and the tiger itself.
Named for Edward James Corbett, the hunter who became the forest’s fiercest guardian. The park begins at our fence line, and Dhela and Jhirna — two of its most rewarding zones — are fifteen minutes from the front gate.
